I have had diabetes since I was 9.
I was on vacation when I found out that I had diabetes. I was so sick we had to come home early. Then when I got home I went to the doctor they said that I had diabetes me and my mom started crying.
The dr. said my blood sugar was 544 ( US measures- about 30 mmol in Australia).
Tthen I went to the hospital they said that I would have to stay for a while and I ended up staying for about a week.
I have tried the pump and I did not like but [I guess it does not always work with everyone]!!!
I am going back on it hopefully pretty soon.
I am doing it for my health. I do not understand why I have diabetes but I do so I am just gonna have to deal with.
