what can I say? My diabetic nurse is wonderful, not only is she great at helping me focus on my diabetes - but I can talk to her!
The last couple of years have been hard on me. I tried various drugs and they really messed up my body, but my nurse was there to lend an ear and not judge me.
I couldn't talk to Mum or Dad because I felt I would be a disappointment to them. I managed with the help of my nurse and my friends to break away from drug use and now I am studying to be a social worker. I think that my past has made me more aware of people's problems and not to judge situations.
All I can say is without her help I don't know what or where I would be right now!
