Diabetes Counselling Online was very lucky to be supported via the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) with seed funding during 2004 - 2009, administered by Diabetes Australia. This enabled us to become a national charity and to grow and develop our organisation.
As we are now an independent charity reliant on sponsors, donors and fundraising, it is our priority to secure corporate partners for major sponsorship so we can develop into the future.
In operation since late 2001, we are now valued by the diabetes community, have received national and international recognition and awards and continually strive to improve and develop our services. In 2010 we received more than 3.5 million hits, over 80,000 individual visitors to our website.

Animas Insulin Pumps (AMSL) have supported our Sweet Talk Gala Dinner as a Bronze Sponsor in 2009, 2010 and as a Silver Sponsor in 2011. When we started there were only 2 other organisations providing these types of online services and we are in the front line of counselling using the Internet in Australia.
